Hoyt Carbon Element RKT

By Jace Bauserman

In the popular movie Field of Dreams, actor Kevin Costner repeatedly hears a voice saying, “If you build it, they will come.” So Costner built a magical baseball field that brought numerous people to his small Iowa farm. I’m not sure if someone at Hoyt heard a voice about building an irresistible bow, but for the past three years they’ve been building it, and archers have come in droves.

In 2010, Hoyt shook the archery world with the unveiling of the Carbon Matrix. Jumping directly into the limelight, the Carbon Matrix sported a wild and outrageously tough carbon riser. That riser was stiff, strong, more vibration-free and incredibly light. Needless to say, this 35-inch axle-to-axle bow became the darling of many bowhunters.

Next came the 2011 Carbon Element. This bow was a 32-inch axle-to-axle, 3.6-pound killer. It was also extremely tough—a Hoyt video showed the bow being shot after it was run over by a truck. With its new Fuel Cam & ½ System, five-layer XTS Pro Arc Limbs and incredible carbon-tube riser, the Carbon Element was clearly another Hoyt masterpiece.

For 2012, the Carbon Element is better than ever. Featuring the same axle-to-axle length and mass weight as last year’s Carbon Element, the all-new Carbon Element RKT users in increased speed and much more.
