Spiced Bear

  • 3 to 4 pounds fat-free bear roast
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cups strained marinade
  • 1/4 pound butter

Wipe meat dry and rub with mixture of honey, cinnamon, garlic juice, and ginger. Put in a roaster on a rack and dot with butter and baste with marinade every 30 minutes. Roast 325 degrees for 3 hours. If in a self-basting roaster, uncover for the last 30 minutes.
