Sweet and Sour Wild Boar

  • 3 pounds diced boar meat
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 large green pepers diced
  • 1 small diced pineapple
  • 36 marashino cherries, de-stemmed
  • 2 cups grapefruit juice
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 small can chicken broth
  • 1 small can beef broth
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Season meat with salt and pepper. Spread in casserole dish and bake at 425 degrees until brown. In a separate pan, bring grapefruit and orange juice to a boil. In a separate bowl, mix corn starch with water until dissolved. Add this to boiling juice. Then add all the other ingredients including boar meat tot the pot.  Serve over a bed of white rice and broccoli with a cheese sauce as vegetable.
